This review is for the hall, which offers a wonderful place for large groups to stay. Around 10 bedrooms, and a fantastic kitchen complete with an Arga, so if you have a chef or two in your group they will love the fully equipped kitchen. Our group had a fantastic time here over the weekend, the place is in a beautiful location, we didn't see the squirrels this time.. Magical stay, thanks 🙏

There is some debate as to whether the two chambers of this Neolithic tomb were actually connected or not but they compliment each other regardless. The Northern tomb has collapsed completely but it's Capstone shows some fascinating layering and recent excavations have indicated that a large standing stone was once on the site of this chamber before it was built. The Southern chamber is better preserved but used to have the additional support of a wooden frame within. This is now no longer there as the support stones are deemed sufficient to safely bear the load of the Capstone. There is signposting for the site from the main road (B5109) and there is a purpose built small lay-by for upto three cars some 200 metres from the monument itself. A kissing gate provides access to the field to view the monument and the whole site is very tidy and clean and picturesque to a point as the livestock in the field will invariably have done what comes naturally all around so tread carefully!. The sheep present when I was there kept their distance but I have heard that the cattle that are kept in the field can be very inquisitive and intimidating for anyone not used to them. A fascinating place to visit regardless.

Presaddfed Burial Chamber is a pair of Neolithic chambered tombs, located near Llyn Llywenan on Anglesey.
The more Southern of the two is in better condition, its sturdy uprights supporting a capstone some four metres in length. The second chamber has collapsed, its capstone leaning against two remaining uprights.
Access is best on foot. There is a small layby to park in near the driveway to Presaddfed Hall. There may be livestock in the field around the monument.

Short walk through the farm. Not alot of information on the chamber. Would love to see a painting of how the chamber was used.

Great little site. Not much to see but an interesting diversion in a lovely area. Beware of curious cows.

What a fabulous place to celebrate my husband's birthday with family and friends. The house offered us everything we needed, the hosts were very accommodating, sending us a list of activities to do. They organised clay pigeon shooting for our group which enjoyed by all. Would recommend to others

A hidden burial chamber found in a middle of a field down a small lane. No parking, but a short walk to some parking bays. A lovely walk to the chamber, a mangery of animals in the field, cows, sheep and geese, which are friendly.
A must see.

Not the easiest site to find. When you eventually find the signs pointing into what looks like a private estate. Take a few secs and drive past the gatehouse and down the driveway. 100 yds later there is a small parking area on the right side and a getaway entrance opposite it into the field on the left of the driveway
The monument and stones are on the far side of the field
Be very careful of the cows. There were around 25 cows in the field. Old enough to not be scared off easily and to young to have much sense. Quite intimidating
The sheep stay clear of you. It’s the cows that herd towards you. Maybe they were expecting to be fed
